For nearly two decades, El Grito Portland has been a beacon of cultural celebration and a vital hub for accessing community resources, from employment opportunities to educational support and health resources.

The Latinx population in the U.S. remains one of the most vulnerable and underserved groups facing minimal access to vital resources such as healthcare. The Latinx community has also been one of the communities hardest hit by the pandemic crisis, wildfires, extreme weather events, the housing crisis and climate change in our region.

At El Grito Portland, we are unwavering in our commitment to equitable access to care for our communities. In collaboration with our health partners, we are dedicated to providing culturally-responsive and culturally-relevant resources and services at no cost. Through this partnership, we actively seek to connect with our communities and offer access to vital services that may be challenging to our community given their lifestyle, long work hours, immigration status, or disability.
